HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation will give you the skills and knowledge to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
RIIWHS202D Enter and Work in Confined Spaces covers the entering and working in confined spaces in resources and infrastructure industries. It includes planning and preparing for entry of confined spaces, entry and working in confined spaces, exiting confined spaces and cleaning up.
MSMWHS201 Conduct Hazard Analysis covers the skills and knowledge required to conduct hazard analysis.
MSMPER300 Issue Work Permits covers the skills and knowledge required to issue work permits. It covers an understanding of the permit system and the limitations of each permit, and making decisions regarding the need for and correct use of each permit. This unit includes the issue of any and all permits.
MSMWHS217 – Gas Test Atmospheres
MSMWHS216 Operate Breathing Apparatus teaches trainee’s how to correctly operate various Self Contained Breathing Apparatus equipment. There is a high amount of practical training conducted in this course so you have the knowledge and skills to safely operate this equipment, including the required skills to safely inspect, maintain and operate SCBA. This course has a strong emphasis on emergency procedures to safety. Regular breathing Apparatus Refresher Training Courses are recommended under Australian Standard 1715-2009.
Prerequisites – NIL.
*Please note that ERT Fire & Rescue supplies all equipment necessary for you to undertake your training. ERT Fire & Rescue always recommend and encourage you to bring along your own equipment. Trainee’s must wear appropriate clothing that will get dirty and enclosed footwear is essential.
