This course teaches the skills and knowledge required to recognise and respond to life-threatening emergencies in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. This course is developed for exisiting workers in the industry who may be require to provide an emergency response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
There are also specific industries that require additional training such as childcare workers, school teachers and other industries.

Participants are required to recertify every 3 years from their completion date to maintain currency.
*Please note that it is a requirement of this course that you are physically capable of performing uninterrupted CPR for at least 2 minutes on an adult and infant CPR manikin placed on the floor and able to follow the prompts of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
